Riga International Airport an Official Partner of the VI Baltic Business Aviation Forum
5 July, 2017
In a major boost to this annual event, Riga International Airport has announced its support for the VI Baltic Business Aviation Forum (BBAF).
Taking place on 10 August, 2017, BBAF will take place for the sixth year running in Jurmala, Latvia. The forum comprises a conference followed by a tour of the Riga International Airport and the FBO RIGA Business Aviation Centre.
Ilona Lice, Chairman of the Board of the Riga International Airport is glad to welcome the forum guests: “This is not the first year that we will welcome the guests of the BBAF. Business aviation is an important branch of the airport performance. But we have plenty to show the delegates besides our dedicated business aviation terminal. Come visit us – I promise it will be exciting!”
During the visit, delegates will see the airport from the air-side, visit FBO RIGA and their terminal, hangar and dispatching center, as well as renovated and newly equipped crew rooms, and tour the aviation museum, home to a fascinating collection of old aircraft and other aviation artifacts. “This will be an insightful visit, for new and regular visitors alike, comments Anna Serezhkina, RUBAA Executive Director and organizer of BBAF. “This year attendees will be able to see the aviation museum for the first time, where we will enjoy a brief tour.”
Roman Starkov, founder and co-owner of Flight Consulting Group – the holding group that includes the FBO RIGA Business Aviation Center, is looking forward to meeting guests: “We have supported the forum from its inception and are very glad to participate in this partnership. This year we will be welcoming for both old and new friends. The Terminal is at optimum capacity and this year we have a hot summer: we will receive Jurmala music festivals and many other events. But BBAF is an important part of our summer program: during your visit it will be our pleasure to demonstrate our terminal, hangar, crew rooms and dispatching center!”
What is more, registered BBAF delegates can enter a competition with prizes provided by the organizers and its partners. To take part, simply register for BBAF and then post any picture from the previous event in social media: Facebook, VK, LinkedIn or Twitter. Or you can post your pictures on the day of the Forum – 10th August– with results to be announced that evening, during the reception. Everyone, including first-time attendees can participate. Important – pictures must be published using the hash-tag #bbaf2017. Winners will be selected by the maximal number of likes and comments.
