Dawit Lemma is the Founder and CEO of Krimson Aviation – an aviation support services company based in Ethiopia and Switzerland since 2015. He is a Swiss citizen, but of Ethiopian origin, and has lived and/or worked all over the world; from Zambia to Afghanistan, the USA to Switzerland – making him a true global citizen. Dawit returned to Ethiopia in 2012, after almost 30 years abroad, as he recognized the thriving potential and opportunities being displayed by Ethiopia’s economic resurgence.

He is a graduate of Purdue University in the USA, where he received a degree in Aeronautical Engineering & Flight Technology. In addition, he received an MSc. degree in Aviation Management & Marketing from the Basel Business College in Switzerland. Dawit also holds an Airframe & Power- plant Mechanic’s License (American FAA), Commercial Pilot’s License (American FAA, South African CAA, Swiss FOCA/EASA), and an EASA Frozen ATPL. He has over 20 years of experience in the aviation sector across 4 continents, with a cache of notable experience garnered at leading companies from around the world, including TAG Aviation, Emirates Airlines, MAF, and Ethiopian Airlines, to name a few.

For the past few years, Dawit has been advocating and promoting the growth of Business and General Aviation in Africa. Dawit served on the Executive Committee of the African Business Aviation Association (AfBAA) as Director of Membership and Events, and currently serves as a Board Member of the AfBAA  and the President of the AfBAA Ethiopia Chapter.

Sidhant Sharma is the Director: Commercial & Legal at 2-REG. Previous experience includes Leasing & Finance at PK AirFinance, working closely with the legal team and enhancing the country risk index for aircraft investments. As well as Asset Management and Technical Services at SGI Aviation, providing advisory services during critical repossessions, risk mitigation and induction of SGI Aviation’s key asset management portfolios.

Mr Sharma holds an Advanced Masters’ degree from Universiteit Leiden in Air & Space Law graduating cum laude with the thesis focussing on the regulatory and practical practices in aircraft de-registrations and export impacting asset value and owner’s interest.

With a background in aviation finance and the commitment to further enunciate the regulatory abilities of 2-REG, Mr Sharma possesses the ideal balance of regulatory and technical knowledge to cultivate a safe and effective product for 2-REG’s clients and its key industry stakeholders.

With eight years of registry experience, Julian holds an Aviation degree from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Julian has works with Private and Commercial jets as well as Lessor transitional Aircraft. He has experience with civilian aircraft ranging from SR20s to A380s.

With a passion for aviation, Julian is a member of several influential committees and has lent his expertise to various departments, granting invaluable expertise in each facet of the company’s operations.

Outside of their role, Julian remains committed to continuous development and staying on top of the industry trends and best practices. Julian lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
